Microsoft unveiled their new Xbox tech today at the first day of E3. This right here… is Microsoft R&D at work.
I’m almost more interested in the more pedestrian uses of this tech. Like automatically signing me in when it sees my face and browsing media with just my hands.
And here is Peter Molyneux and Lionhead Studio’s “Milo.” A tech demo and probably tech that is being put into a game as we speak. It really shows off what developers can do now.
A little creepy to some and a just plain amazing tech to others. Of course I’m one of the people who loved Seaman on Dreamcast. This tech is just ridiculous and I can’t wait to see if they can really pull it off… and what else they might come up with.
The Wii didn’t really live up to the 1:1 control that people expected… I’m reminded of that every time I play Okami… so I’m hopeful that this really does work as they advertise. I’d like hi res graphics to go along with my motion control.
