My Bone-itis!
I know I already posted about Futurama coming back, but it bears another post. Fox themselves have confirmed 26(!!!) brand new episodes have been ordered from Comedy Central. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Futurama is Matt Groening’s true masterpiece. While the Simpson’s is great and the the first decade or so has a special place with me, they are simply running out of stories to tell. Futurama has a whole universe to play with! Plus it mixes my love of sci-fi and satire together all while still having heart. If the end of The Luck of the Fryrish or Jurassic Bark didn’t nearly bring a tear to your eye… well you’re not human. Welcome back Philip J. Fry, Bender Bending Rodriguez, Turanga Leela, and all the rest.
