Ummm… how ‘bout no?
First off. Sorry about lack of posting. Busy week = unbusy blog.
Anyway. Those who know me, know that I’m a huge Futurama fan. I think it’s far better than the current day Simpsons. So of course I was crushed when it was cancelled and thrilled when it was rightfully uncanceled. But now I hear that Fox is trying to recast the voices. Let me tell you how well that’s going to go over with fans… the fans that are the reason this show is coming back. Why it won’t go over well at all. No, the going over of it will be not well at all… not well at all.
Seriously. You’re going to try to recast Fry, Leela, and BENDER?! Why even bother bringing it back? If I go to see Weezer in concert, then I expect to see Weezer… not some tribute band. It’s rumored that they are merely doing this to try and get the original cast to take a pay cut. I want to say that aren’t dumb enough to recast such talented voice actors, but then I remember this is FOX we’re dealing with. It’s not even funny anymore.
